A young Andover Man attempted to take his own life on River Way last night, Thursday 23rd July 2015.
The local man climbed a pylon with a dog lead and attempted to hang himself.
Passer-bys phoned the emergency services and held the man up until help arrived.
The man was taken to hospital.
