The Museum of Army Flying is hosting a private event ‘Wounded Warriors at Wallop’ in conjunction with Aerobility, The Air League, the Army Air Corps and the Historic Aircraft Flight Trust.
The event will provide flight experiences to wounded soldiers from the local area, such as those from Tedworth House. Various static aircraft will also be on the ground including a P51-Mustang.
As a special treat for the attendees, there will be flypasts from the Red Arrows (10.58) and Vulcan (16.30) who have been wowing crowds all over the country this summer as part of the Battle of Britain celebrations.
The Museum will be extremely busy on Saturday with this event and numerous group bookings such as the Harley Davidson Club and Rover P5 Owners Club. As a result it is important to stress that access to the site will be for event attendees and visitors to the Museum and Apache Cafe only.
