Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was left with a broken wrist following an assault in Andover.

The 28-year-old was walking along Winchester Street, in the early hours of Sunday, 25 March, when she was assaulted by a man and a woman.

She was pushed to the ground and punched and kicked.

She suffered a broken wrist and was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital for treatment.

The man and woman are described as being in their early to mid 20s.

DC Chris Phillips said: “Despite this happening between 2am and 4am, we know that there were quite a few people around who were heading home after a night out.

“So if you saw what happened or if you think you know those responsible, please get in touch.”
