Police would like to speak to drivers who may have witnessed a collision on the A303 early this morning (Thursday, April 3) involving a pedestrian and two vehicles.
Officers were called just before 2.40am after a 24-year-old woman from Kempshott was involved in a collision with a Mercedes box van and a Volvo heavy goods vehicle on the eastbound carriageway, just outside of Andover.
It is understood a Mercedes Sprinter van had narrowly avoided a collision with the woman just minutes beforehand.
The woman is being treated for serious injuries as a result of the collision, but her condition is currently described as stable. She remains in ICU at Southampton General Hospital.
