Nine students from Winton had the opportunity to visit Gaschurn in Austria during the Easter holidays. The majority of them had never skied before but they all made fantastic progress over the week and were tearing down the mountain slopes by the end of the trip.
Students and staff alike were privileged to see the fantastic scenery that is located in the Alps. All were left with memories that will last a life time.
Mr Paul George, Geography Teacher said, “Wow, what a fantastic trip!
“The staff and students had a wonderful time plotting our routes down the Austrian alps. The students have grown as individuals and I hope that the trip will inspire a life long love for skiing and a willingness to return to the Alps again some day.”
