As part of a new partnership between The Weyhill Fair and leading Hampshire-based disability charity Enham Trust, the pub will be hosting a car boot sale on 23rd April.
Having chosen Enham Trust as Charity of the Year for 2016, this event marks the second in a series of fundraising events and exciting opportunities held by the pub in aid of the Trust.
A classic country pub in Andover, The Weyhill Fair has historic foundations within the area – built on the site of the original Weyhill Country Fair – and boasts award-winning ales, home-cooked food, and good old-fashioned service.
For those wanting to sell, places are £5 per car, £7.50 per car with trailer or £10 per van, and can be booked by contacting The Weyhill Fair on: firstname.lastname@example.org, and for those wishing to simply come along and have a good time, entry is only 50p.
“We look forward to staging our first Car Boot Sale in aid of The Enham Trust on St George’s Day,” comments Mark Lazenby of The Weyhill Fair. “And hope it will be busy and successful in raising funds for a great Charity.”
All funds raised by The Weyhill Fair on behalf of the charity will go towards the Trust’s vital work across the country; supporting over 7,500 disabled and disadvantaged people each year to live lives of choice, control and independence.
