A thunderstorm weather warning has been set for most of England, including Andover and it’s surrounding villages.
The Met Office fears of power cuts and travel chaos across southern roads.
The warning, which came into force today will affect the country from 6.00pm until 9.00am tomorrow, 24th July.
Warnings to businesses and homes could lose power.
Properties could be damaged due to lightning strikes, hail and strong winds.
Drivers and those using public transport will also be affected as a spray, standing water and hail will lead to longer journey times by car and bus.
Tonight could be the hottest ever in the UK, as our searing heatwave sends the mercury into the high 20s.
Today is set to reach 33C.
