Watches and Jewellery Stolen in Andover Burglary

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary at a house in Augustine Way, Andover.

Some time between September 3 and September 6, unknown offenders smashed glass in a rear door of the house to gain access. Once insider they stole a thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and a tablet device.

The items taken include –

  • Men’s gold Omega Seamaster automatic watch
  • Men’s steel Omega Seamaster automatic watch
  • Ladies gold Omega watch
  • Solid gold men’s cufflinks
  • Two men’s gold tie pins
  • Men’s silver cufflinks
  • Men’s heavy silver chain with St Christopher pendant
  • Gold pearl drop earrings
  • Crystal necklace
  • Two gold crosses with chains
  • Two gold cameos with chains
  • Silver cross with chain
  • Silver Maltese cross with chain
  • Archos 101 Tablet.

Police Staff Investigator Rebecca Quirk, said: “Do you know who is responsible for this burglary? Have you heard of anyone selling this jewellery or where it’s located? If so please contact me. “I’d like to take opportunity to remind homeowners to ensure they take steps to try and prevent becoming victims of crime. If you are away you’re your home, even for a short time, use light timer devices for example, or arrange for a neighbour or family member to attend the house to ensure the property is safe and secure.”
