Vernham Dean is a picturesque village in north-west Hampshire, approximately 10 miles north of Andover and 15 miles south of Newbury, very near to the borders with Wiltshire and Berkshire. The village is situated in a Conservation Area and within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are many footpaths, bridleways and mountain biking routes from the village including a route up to an ancient hillfort at Fosbury.
Vernham Dean has a population of about 490 people and the numerous village facilities including a school, pre-school, pub, church, village hall and playing field which help to create a thriving community.
