Road users planning to travel on the M3, M25 and M1 on Thursday (12 June) are advised that a slow moving vehicle with an abnormal load will be travelling in the area.  The vehicle will travel from Southampton in Hampshire to Nottingham via the northbound M3, clockwise M25 and northbound M1 to junction 26 where it will complete its journey into Nottingham.  Its journey will start at approximately 10am on Thursday morning, when it leaves Southampton Docks, and is expected to arrive in Nottingham by midnight.  The vehicle will be travelling at around 30mph and will be escorted by the police throughout its journey.  Road users are advised to plan their journeys before they set out, and to leave extra time if they are going to be affected by this vehicle’s journey.
