We visited the Hawk Conservancy in Amport to check out their new ‘Dino Trail’.

Entering the local attraction, you pay for entry in the shop and are handed the Dino Trail leaflet.

On one side are ten dinosaurs pictured, you tick each one to show that you have found it, on the other side are questions relating to each dinosaur, the answers can be found on the strategically placed signs around the grounds.

Finding the dinosaurs isn’t too tough and it’s a great opportunity to wander around looking at the beautiful – and sometimes unusual birds!

We really enjoyed the ‘Meet the Burrowers’ experience. It was great fun going through the tunnel, looking through the peepholes. We were even lucky enough to watch some of the owls burrowing!!

There is a really lovely play park for the younger guests with plenty of safe and sturdy climbing equipment and swings.

It’s a great day out for the family and we are luckily enough to have it right on our doorstep!

Pop along this half term and check it out!
