The third entry prize winner in this year’s Test Valley Business Awards entry & nomination period is announced…
As the deadline for entries & nominations into this year’s Test Valley Business Awards draws ever closer, now is the time for businesses to enter any, or all, of the Awards’ 6 categories.
By entering now, businesses operating within Test Valley have the chance to win an assortment of prizes, given to entrants chosen at random throughout the entry & nomination period, which ends in less than a month.
Collecting his prize at Rosebourne this week, Adam Phillips of It’s The Money Guy – winner of the Awards’ second entry prize – also selected the Awards’ third entry prize winner. Taking a name out of a hat, Adam chose James Lamb of Idea Reality Ltd. as the winner of locally brewed beer courtesy of Betteridge’s Brewery.
The Test Valley Business Awards 2018 awards categories and Gold Sponsors are:
• Innovation & Technology Award – The University of Southampton Science Park
• New Business of the Year Award – Test Valley Borough Council
• Doing Business Locally Award – Taylored IT
• Small Business of the Year Award – Wilkins Kennedy
• Employer of the Year Award – Simplyhealth
• Businesswoman of the Year Award
Adam Phillips of It’s The Money Guy commented:
“The Money Guy is there to help people and businesses make better financial decisions. Money doesn’t buy you happiness, but it certainly makes life a little easier. I want to try and stop people spending needlessly and to help better educate them on their rights so that they can utilise as much of their own money as possible!
I will be on Andover radio 95.9 FM very soon talking about money, money help and getting local businesses on there to help understand their own journey.
The Test Valley Business Awards is so important to the future of small businesses in the Test Valley region; particularly with the loss of quite a few big chains leaving the high street, it has become more important than ever to support the individual and small businesses situated in and around Andover. If you know someone who runs their own business and you think they are worthy of an award – nominate them!! ”
To enter, and be in with a chance of winning subsequent entry prizes, businesses are asked to visit: www.tvbawards.org.uk/enternominate/ by 11th May, and fill in the simple online form with 200 – 250 words about your business against the relevant category judging criteria, which can also be found on the Awards’ website.
The Awards is free to enter; taking just minutes to fill in the online form which, if successfully chosen as a winner, could lead to a full 12 months of business promotion across the Test Valley.
Businesses are encouraged to enter as many categories as possible before the entry & nomination period ends at midnight on 11th May.
Now in its 14th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of volunteers – has become a well-established platform to promote businesses excellence and especially to shine a light on the many new and small innovative businesses operating out of sight. It is a great way to enable smaller enterprises to gain the recognition and exposure to grow.
