The award-winning Andover Musical Theatre Company are performing The Witches of Eastwick at The Lights next week.

The company, who celebrated their 50th anniversary last year, is made up of members ranging in age from 18 to over 60, all from Andover and the surrounding area, and you will be impressed by the talent.

Louise Ellison of the group said “If you haven’t seen this local theatre company in action before, then you should give yourself a treat and book now. Ours is an am-dram group like no other the reason being that our productions are far from amateur, in fact, I’d say they are so good you might think you were watching a professional show.”

The group has been nominated by the Southern Daily Echo for a total of 10 Curtain Call Awards over the last few years, in recognition of their brilliant productions.

Ms Ellison continued “The Witches of Eastwick is a modern musical based on the 80’s movie, following three divorcees who contemplate the failings of their lives and imagine the kind of man they like to meet. Soon the devilish Darryl Van Horne appear and causes quite a stir in their small american town. It’s a funny show, with adult themes, lively music and some strong language, so it may not be suitable for under 16’s, but it does promise to be a great night our for grown-ups!”
