The Dress Boutique in Andover Celebrates a Year at Waterloo Court

The Dress Boutique in Andover Town Centre Celebrates One Year Trading in Waterloo Court
Saturday 16th November 2013

The Dress Boutique moved to Waterloo Court, down the side of Tesco Metro, a year ago. Louise Ellison, who owns and runs the shop, services Andover and the surrounding Villages with Evening and Party Wear and Prom Dresses, which is now an essential service, with all of the secondary schools in the area now running the yearly Proms for their Year 11’s. The shop is filled with beautiful dresses. All colours fill the rails in all kinds of materials and lengths.

We visited the shop today to see Chasing Daisies perform at the birthday party, which promised to have cakes and fizz to celebrate, and when we turned up we weren’t disappointed. Beautifully topped cupcakes adorned the counter along with yummy bon bon sweets and lots of Champagne and soft drinks. The shop was already busy and there were 15 year old twin girls shopping for their prom dresses with their Mum. A great day to be prom dress shopping, as anything bought today will receive a whopping 25% discount as Louise’s birthday gift to her customers.

The girls, Abby and Beth, tried on a few dresses for me so we could see how they looked, but their Mum Claire Hattrick pointed out that the dresses the girls will wear to the prom are very much a secret, and no one will know what they look like, until they arrive with their dates on the night. Abby wore a stunning Pink dress and Beth, a beautiful fluffy midnight Blue one. They both looked absolutely stunning and posed for me while I took loads of pictures.

The Chasing Daisies girls had been out and about in the morning, handing out cards to Andover Town’s shoppers and came back looking absolutely stunning. All four were wearing dresses that can be bought from The Dress Boutique from the design collection ‘Ruby’. The girls looked absolutely stunning, as they always do, absolute professionals. They sang their set beautifully to the crowded shop.

Louise explained to me that most Proms are around June-July time, but it is advisable to get dresses ready and sorted as soon as possible. You can visit the shop now and choose the style of dress you want, which Louise will order in for you. You do not have to pay the full price up front and can leave a deposit. Most importantly, if you go in today (Saturday 16th November 2013) you will get the 25% discount on any dress or shoes you purchase.
