Testbourne Secondary School in Whitchurch will be closed today (Thursday 16th March 2017).
The school informed parents yesterday evening by email and text, explaining that there was a problem with the water supply.
Headteacher, Mrs R Beasley said, “I have to inform you that because of a major problem with a burst pipe in the main boiler house I have to close the school for at least 24 hours. This is because there is no water supply and therefore no toilet facilities.
“We are hoping that repairs will be completed to enable us to open as normal on Friday 17th March but I will inform you once I have confirmation that the water supply is restored. I can only apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
