The 11th Annual Business Awards ceremony was held at The Lights in Andover on the 21st April 2015 and celebrated many local businesses and their achievements. The awards ceremony is funded completely through sponsorship and is organised by a small steering committee. On the 21st of April 2015 guests gathered at The Lights to celebrate eleven exceptional years of business excellence in Test Valley.

Every year the Test Valley Business Awards sponsor a deserving charity and this year all money raised was donated to the Community First Responders. One of the First Responders for the Andover area, Martin Lovejoy, shared a ten minute insight into what the charity did and what their work involves. He made a great impression and raised over £700 during the evening thanks to many kind donations.

The Master of Ceremonies was Steve Randall, a professional communicator and CEO of Talk Ventures Ltd. The Guest of Honour, entertaining the guests throughout the evening with his stories and anecdotes, was Nicholas Parsons CBE, a highly accomplished radio & television presenter and an actor.

Guests were entertained by Chris Berntsen who sang several covers during the evening and who is known locally for his singing talent. Introducing each Award winner were two of the members of Inspired Brass, Neil & Adam. Both are Trumpet players who were with the Army Air Corps band and they are both versatile instrumentalists.

Food was prepared and served by McCrimmon & Reid and their award wining Chef, Alan Haughie. Guests were supplied with succulent starters, a tasty main and a choice of one of two zesty or creamy desserts.

Judging was made up of the Gold Sponsers of the business awards who all spent time visiting the finalists and getting to know the employers and employees in order to make their decisions. Gold sponsors included Cooking2Cooling, University of Southampton Tailored IT, Test Valley Borough council, Waltet and Active Staff.
