Test Valley Business Awards Entry Period Closes Mark Leech, General Manager of The White Hart Hotel, Andover, and winner of the Test Valley Business Awards’ fourth entry prize, was last week presented with his special gift – a bottle of sparkling wine, kindly donated by the award-winning Danebury Vineyard.

Presented to Mark by Test Valley Borough Council’s Economic Development Officer and TVBAwards Steering Committee member David Gleave, the prize marks the end of nominations/entries for 2016.

“It’s so exciting to have won this prize,” commented Mark. “And such an honour to have been nominated for the Awards. Here at The White Hart, we’re proud to support our local community, and entering the Awards further promotes this – bringing local businesses together.”

With more than 150 entries, the 2016 Awards is already shaping up to be the biggest yet. Many businesses have used the new website to enter the Awards, nominate their partners & suppliers, and celebrate what it means to be a successful business operating in the Test Valley.

Now in its 12th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a small steering group of volunteers and supported by the Council – has become a well-established platform to promote businesses excellence and especially to shine a light on the many new and small innovative businesses operating out of sight. It is a great way to enable smaller enterprises to gain the recognition and exposure to grow.
