Leading disability charity Enham Trust, based in Hampshire, is offering members of the public the opportunity to take on the experience of a lifetime; ticking the ultimate Charity Challenge item off their bucket list with the Everest Base Camp trek.
The epic 12-day trek, held between 10th & 25th November 2018 to Nepal’s Everest Base Camp, not only offers a breath-taking and awe-inspiring hike through some of the world’s most stunning scenery, but also the opportunity for individuals to push themselves to the limit whilst supporting a worthwhile cause.
“This is something we’ve never done before,” comments Matthew Spackman, Income Generation Lead at Enham Trust. “And something we’re really excited to be offering to people who really want to challenge themselves this year. An experience such as this, famous for its intensity and level of difficulty, would truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone willing to really push themselves.”
Participants can choose to self-fund the cost of the trip at £2370 (£395 registration fee + £1975 for the charity) or sponsor the cost through fundraising; raising a total of £3950 for Enham Trust + £395 registration fee.
