Tail Wagging Fun at Burghclere Down Community Fete

Andover 11 Scout Group organised a Fete and Fun Dog Show at Burghclere Community Centre on Saturday 27th September. The day promised to be full of fun, activities and a fantastic fun dog show, and the day did not disappoint.

Andover & Villages spoke to one of the organisers, Sue Allison, who said, “Thank you to everyone who came along to support the fete and dog show – we had such a great turnout of people and dogs! We hope that a good afternoon’s fun and entertainment was had by all. Our purpose was to have an event in the heart of Burghclere Down, which could be enjoyed by the local community and raise money for two great charities, The Countess of Brecknock Hospice and the 11th Andover Scout and Cub Group. Well, we did both – lots of smiling faces, gorgeous dogs and nearly £1500 raised!”

All proceeds from the Burghclere Down Community Fete will be going to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice and the Andover 11 Scout Group, two very worthwhile local charities.

Andover 11 Scout Group is a registered charity.
