suspected dog theft in burbagePolice are appealing for information following a suspected theft of a dog in the Burbage area.

The incident happened at about 3.30pm on Thursday 29th September.

A woman was out walking her two dogs, a Red Setter and a Spaniel, across a ploughed field near to the byway between Easton Royal and Ram Alley.

The Red Setter went on ahead and at that point the dog walker noticed a woman push something and then heard a car door close.

The dog had disappeared.

The vehicle made off toward Ram Allen and Burbage pypass.

The dog, named Brewster, is described as large, 4 years old, wearing a roll collar with a brass disc.

The vehicle, is described as a small white vehicle.
