Guildford CID is appealing for help in tracing a man they would like to speak with following a serious assault in Camberley.

Officers were called to a property in the town at around 8pm on Friday, 15 May after a woman in her 30s suffered significant injuries.

Following an initial investigation, officers would now like to trace 33-year-old Alan Blanchard, who is believed to have connections to the Basingstoke area.

Detective Sergeant Gary Hutchings, said: “Since the offence occurred we have made a number of enquiries which now lead us to believe Mr Blanchard may be able to assist with our investigation.

I would ask anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact Surrey Police as a matter of urgency with information.”
