Back in early December, Andover & Villages reported that rubbish was constantly piling up at the side of the old Danebury Hotel, now renamed the original Star & Garter, and set to open up on Monday 13th January, under the new ownership of businessman, Mark Bowley.

In December Mark confirmed to Andover & Villages that planning permission had been requested to put back the original railings pre war, which he was confident, if accepted, would put paid to the area being used as an impromptu lunch meeting place, where rubbish is strewn.

Local Celebrity, Manuela Wahnon, sent in these pictures for Andover & Villages and hopes to see the area free of litter in the future.
