Sit back and enjoy an evening of Sinatra, Sequins and Swing at The Lights on Friday, 13 April.
Attention Sinatra and Rat Pack fans, the cult Swing show – and only UK Sinatra show recommended a ‘must-see’ by President of Sinatra Music Society – makes a welcome return to The Lights once again with the same stunning cast.
Celebrating the 50’s Hollywood glamour and much-loved songs of Sinatra’s iconic golden years at Capitol Records (1953-1961). Be guaranteed a brilliantly produced concert-show starring the leading exponents of this music supported by a world-class Big Swing Band (featuring players from Ronne Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, John Wilson Orchestra and the BBC Big Band).
Revel in over 30 glorious hits like Chicago (That Toddlin’ Town), Come Fly With Me, Night & Day, Witchcraft, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, The Tender Trap, Wee Small Hours, You Make Me Feel So Young and more, interwoven with iconic song scenes from the era’s famous films Pal Joey, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and High Society. And if that wasn’t enough, there are some timeless hits from Sinatra’s Capitol Records stablemates: mesmerising Peggy Lee and swingin’ Bobby Darin, plus the jaw-dropping vocal talent of show’s Marilyn Monroe and plenty of fun promised in between. Rarely do you see the natural Sinatra-esque vocal majesty of critically acclaimed new ‘Sinatra star’ Kevin Fitzsimmons and vocal prowess of sultry 50s Hollywood-style pin-up Kitty La Roar. Well now’s your chance.
“A must-see show, flawlessly performed, would please any Sinatra purist”
– K BARNES, PRESIDENT, SINATRA MUSIC SOCIETY
