Short Vigil in Andover Town Centre for Terror Attack Victims

A short vigil to show solidarity with victims of terror in Paris and around the world, will be held at the Time Ring in Andover town centre on Saturday 21 November from 10.45am, with a two-minute silence at 11am.

The vigil is being organized by Reverend Canon John Harkin, Vicar of St. Mary’s Church, in the wake of the atrocities that left at least 129 dead in the French capital on Friday 13 November, and another 43 killed in twin suicide bombings in Beirut, Lebanon on Thursday 12 November.

Mayor of Test Valley, Councillor Iris Andersen will be present, and all residents of Test Valley, from any religious groups or none at all, are warmly invited to join this short act of solidarity against extremism and terrorism.
