Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market’s next visit to the High Street will be on Sunday, 20 September from 10am – 2pm.
There will be seasonal bounty available from Hampshire Game and watercress from Mapleleaf; homemade pies from Mud Foods, and meat and fish from Greenfield Pork and the New Forest Smokery. All of it perfect for stocking up the freezer ready for cooking hearty winter warming meals in the coming months.
As well as satisfying the taste buds, visitors to the market can also indulge their creative side with a range of craft and art inspired stalls including Silvery Somethings, Beaker Button, Buick Art, Print to Provoke and Mainly Wild.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Ian Carr said: “The Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market is now an established entry on the market calendar. It attracts a wide range of stalls from local producers and businesses and encourages people from across the area to pop into town and shop local. It is a prime example of how we are all working together to create a successful and vibrant town.”
So whether you are a regular visitor or whether you are new to the market, why not take some time to wander, listen to the music in the Time Ring from Test Valley Brass and Andover Musical Theatre Company or sample some of the delicious street food on offer.
There will be three more markets before the end of the year, taking place on the third Sunday of each month, and culminating in the Christmas Farmers’ and Crafts Market on 20 December.
