Ruth Wheeler to visit Kingsclere Library Local author Ruth Wheeler will visit the Kingsclere Community Library on Tuesday evening, 22nd March at 7.30.

Ruth is an author of humorous science-fiction novels for young adults and she will be interviewed by speaker and presenter Lis Allen. The focus of the talk will be on Ruth’s latest book – The Extreme Autograph Hunters and she will also be speaking about her Truxxe trilogy, and on writing in general.

When Jeremy and Alistair come across what they think is just a prop from their favourite television programme, Sir Cuthbert’s Remarkable Adventures Through Time, and discover that it really can travel through time, the pair borrow the prop, the Temporal Perambulator, to travel throughout history to collect autographs of course!

Sci-Fi Now Magazine said, “Wheeler’s characters scream with shades of Douglas Adams and similar veins of comedic science fiction. Her imagination pops from page to page”

Tickets to this event are free, and are available from the library or EventBrite at
