Leading disability charity Enham Trust is appealing for no less than 24 energetic runners of all ages and abilities to take part in Parallel London 2017 on 3rd September.
An inclusive running festival taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London, Parallel London is the UK’s most accessible running event, offering participants the option to run any one of five distances; 10km, 5km, 1km, 100m and the ‘Super Sensory’ 1km.
All participants who need support are invited to bring a buddy to accompany, guide or push them free of charge, ensuring anyone of any age or abilities is able to take part.
Enham Trust’s Head of Income Generation, Hannah Leicester, comments of the event:
“We’re excited to be part of Parallel London this year; this event really does embody our ethos – ensuring anyone of any ability can take part, challenge themselves, and raise money for a cause they feel passionately about.”
Adult registration fees are £20 each and a child (5-16 years) is just £10 registration; under 5’s can take part for free with a full paying adult.
Those participating in the challenge are asked to raise a minimum of £150 for the charity.
