Local news | Police Search for Mobility Crash DriverPolice are appealing for the driver to come forward of a silver or grey vehicle which crashed with a mobility scooter as it crossed Greenwich Way in Andover on Monday, October 26.

The red scooter carrying a 59-year-old man and 69-year-old woman was heading away from Andover Retail Park and crossed Greenwich Way when it was in a collision with the car as it came off the A343.

It was later discovered the woman had suffered two breaks to one of her legs in the incident.

The car involved did stop at the time of the collision but the driver didn’t leave their details. Officers would now like to speak with them and any other witnesses to the accident.

They are asking the driver or anyone else with information about the incident to call PC Rob Kilgallon at the Roads Policing Unit at Whitchurch police station on 101.
