We are appealing for information after a man was injured during an attempted robbery in Andover.
The 21-year-old victim was walking in Colenzo Drive, around 12.23am on the morning of Saturday 27 May, when he was approached by three males.
The group attempted to rob the man, but he managed to get away. He did, however, sustain a wound to his hand during the incident.
He was taken to the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke before being transferred to Salisbury District Hospital.
Two of the three males were described as white, and the other one as black.
All three were described as being aged in their teens and as wearing dark clothing with either balaclavas or scarves to cover their faces.
Detective Constable Chris Phillips said: “While this is a rare occurrence for Andover, it was a nasty assault which led to a man being taken to hospital.
“We would like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing males with their faces covered in the Colenzo Drive/Pilgrims Way area that night.”
