Police Appeal for Weekend Fight WitnessesPolice are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Andover.

The incident took place at some time between 12.30am and 12.40am on Sunday, October 25. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was trying to break up a fight between a small group of men in Andover Town Centre between Chillies and Chick-O-Land. As he tried to assist, he was punched in the face resulting in his jaw being broken in two places.

PC Claire Villalard, said: “There were lots of people around during the time of the assault. It would urge anyone who saw the assault or has any other information that might help us, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
