Assault in Andover Picket Twenty

Police are looking for witnesses in the Picket Twenty area of Andover at around 11.45pm on Friday 9th August

Were you in the area? If so, you may be able to help police with their investigation into the assault on a woman.

The assault took place at the junction of Picket Twenty and Levy Road.

The 28-year-old woman was approached by a man she did not know. He racially abused her before pushing her to the ground and assaulting her.

She sustained a cut above her eye and facial bruising.

The man is described as, white, aged between 23 and 25, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jogging bottoms and white Adidas shoes with three black stripes on the side
