At some time between 8.30am and 11am on Friday 14 April the offender/s forced entry to a house on Winchester Street, Chilbolton.

Once inside, they searched the address and took a number of items including a computer, an antique gold and diamond broach and silver plated items. They also took a silver and wood presentation bowl which had been engraved.

PC Lisa Wearn, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come and speak to us. Were you in the Winchester Street area around the time of the incident? Did you see or hear anything suspicious?

“A number of items were stolen, including a distinctive presentation bowl which was made from silver and wood. The bowl had been engraved so is easily identifiable. If you think you have been offered any of these items for sale, please let us know.

“As always, we would urge people to remain vigilant and report any suspicous activity to the police immediately.”
