Finkley Down Farm have been granted a ‘change of use’ planning application by Test Valley Borough Council.
The planning application asked for a change of use for an unused building to be used as a party room.
Currently Finkley hosts parties in the restaurant area. In the planning application, owner Charles Waters says that due to the party service growing in popularity, a further facility for children’s parties is required.
The building that is set to be renovated into Finkley’s party central used to be used for staff housing.
It is located in the gated area between the shire horses and the cow shed, behind the play area.
The building will comply with fire regulations and will have toilet facilities.
