An ANDOVER pub has opened its door ahead of months of work. The microbar opened it’s door following the closure of Patisserie Ambrosia 69.
Planning permission to turn the once bakery into a pub was submitted and given the go-ahead by Test Valley Borough Council.
The planning permission requested a change of use to a drinking establishment back in June.
The bar set up in the premises formerly occupied by Patisserie Ambrosia 69 and is situated below the Shahi Raj Indian restaurant.
The bar is determined to provide a drinking establishment that encourages conversation and considered drinking, with quality ales being the focus.
The exciting new business will be offering local cask and keg ales with only limited offerings of gin, prosecco and wine. A selection of non-alcoholic drinks coffee and tea with cold food and snacks will also be on offer.
