A man from Romsey when visiting Andover kicked a woman in the body and avoided jail time.
Jacob Allan Hughes, 21, of Fleming Avenue admitted to assault while at Basingstoke Magistrates and avoided jail time.
Basingstoke Magistrates court jailed him for 12 months with a suspended the sentence of 12 months.
The offence aggravated due to intoxication and in breach of a community order.
Mr Hughes also has a record of violent behaviour.
The man also has an ‘Electrical monitoring tag’ attached monitoring him to stop visiting Dene Court in Andover.
