Local Andover News | Man Robbed and Threatened with Knife in Andover | Andover & VillagesPolice are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Andover early on Friday, October 14.

A 47-year-old man was walking along Icknield Way towards Smannell Road between 4.10am and 4.30am when another man approached him from behind.

He produced a knife and demanded money, but the victim fought him off and the attacker ran off towards Turin Court. Nothing was stolen.

Andover Advertising with Andover & VillagesThe victim received a cut to his finger which was treated at Andover War Memorial Hospital.

We are appealing for witnesses to the incident and are looking to trace a silver Ford Focus that was seen at the time.

The attacker is described as follows:

• black

• in his 20s or 30s

• 5ft 10ins tall

• slim build

• goatee beard

• wearing a grey hoodie with the hood pulled tight over his head and face, and grey jogging bottoms.
