Local News | Man Dies in A303 Collision | Andover & VillagesPolice are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Andover this morning.

Officers were called at 7.26am today (27 February) following reports of a single vehicle collision on the A303 eastbound, just north of the railway line.

The driver of the car, a 44-year-old man, from Basingstoke, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The road closures have now been lifted.

Police would like to thank everyone for their patience while we dealt with this incident.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened or who saw the vehicle prior to the incident.
