We’re appealing for information regarding an assault which occurred in Amesbury.
The incident happened in Kitchener Road – a 25-year-old man was assaulted at approximately 2.25am on Saturday 29 September.
The victim was approached by a man who assaulted him causing him to lose consciousness and sustain cuts and swelling to his face, as well as an injury to his knee and shoulder. He was taken by ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.
The victim’s friend, aged 18, was also punched but wasn’t seriously injured.
The suspect is described as stocky, with short brown hair and a short beard. He was wearing a black t-shirt with writing on and dark jeans.
PC Josh Bliss said: “This was a nasty incident which left the victim in hospital for several days for treatment to his injuries.
“I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area and saw the incident, or anyone who may know who the suspect is – please get in touch.”
