Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was on the X4 bus travelling through Bulford at approximately 10.40pm on 20 December.

At around this time, a 72-year-old man was assaulted by two people while the bus was stationary at the bus stop on the High Street in Bulford. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured but did sustain swelling to his face and cuts to his hand.

A loud verbal argument took place towards the front of the bus leading up to the assault.

The first suspect is described as female, aged approximately 18, of slim build, with plaited blonde hair and wearing light coloured jeans.

The second suspect is described as male, aged 18, approximately 6 ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a beige coloured hooded top.

PC Kieran Leibrick said: “We are really keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance and the subsequent assault on this man.

“We are also keen to speak with the driver of a silver car who was flagged down by the victim and had a brief conversation with the suspects and the victim following the incident.
