The sun was shining for the October Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market this weekend.
Celebrating the bounty of the autumn harvest, traders set up their stalls early on Sunday morning, ready for the arrival of Andover’s shoppers, who came out on their droves to shop at popular local businesses who had set up camp for the day.
Visitors could browse the stalls and treat themselves to an array of crafts, jewellery, clothes and fresh produce and also grab some lunch from the various food stalls operating on the day.
All of this was set against the backdrop of music in the Time Ring from contemporary folk duo Anna and Beth.
Andover & Villages spoke to Louise Ellison, of Lulu’s Boutique, a new women’s clothing wonder in Andover Town centre, who said, “We had a great day at the Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market. There were lots of smiley happy people enjoying the sunshine! We also met lots of lovely ladies. We have booked a pitch at both the November and December markets too!”
There are two more Andover Farmers’ and Crafts markets in the lead up to Christmas – Sunday, 16 November and Sunday, 21 December. Mark them in your diary and make them part of your Christmas shopping plans.
