Corona Virus Outbreak Ludgershall

The Castle Practice in Ludgershall has closed for 24 hours in order to undertake a deep clean because of coronavirus fears a staff member has confirmed today.

A patient attended the surgery this morning (Tuesday 10th March 2020) showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

The patient is being tested but has not yet been confirmed as having the potentially deadly virus, however, following Public Health England advice, the surgery has closed for deep cleaning as a precaution and will reopen tomorrow morning.

Patients will continue to be seen at The Castle Practice in Tidworth in the interim, it is not known if the staff and the GP who came into contact with the patient have self quarantined.

Andover Leisure Centre closed for 24 hours earlier in the week after a local man with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) attended the centre to collect his grandchild.
