Andover’s famous ‘Millennium Man‘ has been subject to an unknown attack on Saturday (23rd February) night it’s believed.

A local who returned from his weekend away witnessed the unhinged Millennium, it’s believed a group of ‘young males’ caused the damage, however, this is speculation and hasn’t been investigated as of publication.

Jade Tester commented saying, “The amount of times this statue has gotten fixed is unbelievable”

The popular local landmark which is located at the floral clock site at the junction of Weyhill and Salisbury Road, is often found draped in seasonal and event attire, with Santa hats and football shirts being used in the past.

Andover and Villages have contacted Test Valley Borough Council for comment.
