Business News | Local Group Donates Money to Young Carers | Andover & VillagesLocal business networking group, Andover Mutual Business, has recently donated £500 to local charity Andover Young Carers.

An independent Charity established to provide support to children and young people who have a caring responsibility, Andover Young Carers was established in January 2000 to enable children and young people with caring responsibilities to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually by providing opportunities that widen their horizons and allow them to reach their full individual potential.

Presented to Andover Young Carers’ volunteer Gill Rhodes in December, this substantial donation will enable the charity to treat the children & young adults they support to day trips, as well as providing additional activities for the charity’s after school clubs.

Chairman of Andover Mutual Business Group, David Ings, said of supporting Andover Young Carers in this way, “We’re delighted to present this donation to Andover Young Carers; a vital cause that makes a huge difference to the lives of so many children & young adults in the area.”
