The nomination period is now open for the Pride of Andover Awards 2018, where 18 local people, passion about supporting their community, will be celebrated for their achievements across 9 awards categories.

Sponsored by many local businesses, this year’s awards categories serve to shine a light on outstanding individuals working & volunteering in and around Andover to strengthen our community. The Pride of Andover Awards 2018 has no less than 9 awards categories for which any nominees can be shortlisted, including the Young Person of the Year Award, sponsored by New Street Dental Care.

The Young Person of the Year Award exists to recognise a young person (under the age of 18 on 1st April 2018) who has made a real difference, either through their actions, by fundraising and/or working tirelessly in their community, neighbourhood, charity or club.

Dr Julian Chen, Principle Dental Surgeon at New Street Dental Care, said of the Award:

“As a family run business, we know the importance of supporting and nurturing young people; to grow, to work hard and to invest in their community – both for their own personal development and for the good of the town. By sponsoring Young Person of the Year, for the Pride of Andover Awards, we’re able to celebrate extraordinary young people doing just this and shine a light on their achievements.”
