Litter Bin Review in Andover Town CentreOver the next few weeks regular visitors to Andover town centre may notice that some of the litter bins will be replaced, removed or re-sited following a review of the litter bin capacity in the town centre. This was carried out in 2014 and identified a number of bins that are in the wrong place, need replacing or do not get used regularly.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Ian Carr said: “These small scale changes are part of a wider range of incremental improvements made to Andover’s town centre landscape since the beginning of the Andover Summit initiative in Autumn 2012, and which have continued year on year since then to improve the environment that we shop and work in.

The audit identified how popular each bin was, and we have made sure that those bins that are well used will remain in place.”
