Conservative Kit Malthouse has romped home with a landslide general election win in North West Hampshire.
The results came in early this morning (Friday 13th December 2019) that showed Kit had gained a massive 62.1% of the votes, the exact same percentage win as in the 2017 election.
36,591 voters put their cross in Kit Malthouses box, making him North West Hampshire’s MP.
Coming in second was Liberal Democrat candidate, Luigi Gregory gaining a respectable 17.5% of the vote. In the 2017 election, the Lib Dem candidate attracted only 9.7% of the vote.
Labour slipped down into third position in the 2019 election in North West Hampshire, gaining only 15.8% of the vote, drastically down from the 2017 result which saw them gain 23.5% of voters when local favourite Andy Fitchett threw his hat into the ring.
