A Hampshire based insurance business with a thriving apprenticeship programme will be sharing the story of its success with the MP for North West Hampshire this week.

Kit Malthouse is visiting Be Wiser Insurance in Andover to meet apprentices from Be Wiser’s future talent programme and from across its other apprenticeship training schemes.

With an extra three million apprentices being promised by the Government within the duration of parliament Be Wiser is playing its part by contributing to the national agenda.

The 250 apprentices within the company range from school or college leavers to University Graduates. All apprentices are studying for either their Certificate or Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

“We are keen to show Kit Malthouse what we have achieved here in Andover through our award winning apprenticeships programme,” said Kelly Scanlan Apprenticeship manager. “He will be meeting a group of our apprentices and handing out awards and certificates. We are very proud of our success so far and I attribute it to the hard work our apprentices put in.”

Just last month Be Wiser was awarded the Newcomer Large Employer of the Year Award at the South East Regional Apprenticeship Awards. This automatically places them in the National Apprenticeship Awards final in January.
