Andover’s brand new Aldi store opened just last week on the 22nd September, but it didn’t take long before some shoppers were taking to social media with their car park and navigation woes.
The main complaint is the ‘No Right Turn’ sign at the exit of the car park.
One post on Facebook said: “Chaos trying to escape Aldi car park at the weekend.
“The logical thing to do would be go left and use the roundabout to go right. While waiting for the 3rd car to turn right I spied a ‘No Right Turn’ sign.”
Others found the car park itself a problem, with many people parking across two bays at once, causing a lack of available spaces.
However, as an Aldi delivery arrived on a large lorry, there was evidence to suggest that the car park may have its issues.
The lorry driver required a store manager to assist him in manoeuvring into the delivery bay, with not quite enough room to allow for a safe reverse.
