Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance attended an incident in St Mary Bourne today (27th February 2015) along with an ambulance from South Central Ambulance Service.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that there was an incident in Gangbridge Lane involving a fall, however the crew from the Air Ambulance left without a patient on board.
The Air Ambulance arrived at around 2.30pm and left at approximately 4pm.
The Helicopter is based at Thruxton Airfield near Andover and is called out every day.
The Air Ambulance crew provide an efficient, prompt response to road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses, and many other incidents throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The Helicopter is called out many times per day, and these missions are often life saving.
