A broken tap on the second floor of Andover’s Dorothy Perkins store caused a severe water leak on Sunday afternoon, causing water to break through the ceiling and flood the popular local clothes store.

Fire-fighters from Andover’s fire station attended the incident and isolated water and electricity supplies, and then assisted staff to salvage stock from the first and second floors of the building.

The store will be closed today, Monday 3rd July 2017.

No one was hurt in the incident.
